in ICT in education

This page aims to provide access to information about the levels of investment in ICT in education over the last 30+ years across countries.

One of the major difficulties in collecting this data is in determining whether monies that are identified in the sources are
(a) targetted at particular sectors
(b) new money (as opposed to money that has already been accounted for elsewhere).

As a starting point I have written a report on the level of investment in ICT in schools (Twining 2002), which you can download as a PDF file (804kb) or as a zipped PDF file (377kb).

If you have information about expenditure on ICT that you think would be relevant or about sources of further information please email me (PeterT@meD8.info) with details.
