to 'the problems' with ICT in education

If you accept the key reasons that I have identified for the failure of investments in ICT in education to have a proportionate impact on education then the solution to the problem becomes fairly obvious:

  1. Provide and use frameworks that clearly define the area under investigation and the terminology being used, and thus allow comparisons across studies.
  2. Provide and use frameworks that allow people to think about and describe their visions for how ICT can/should be used in education.

A large number of frameworks relating to ICT in education exist, the question is whether or not one or more of them are well suited to achieve these objectives.

What do you think about my suggested solution? Why not email me (PeterT@meD8.info) with your thoughts?
