The Computer Practice Framework

I developed the Computer Practice Framework (CPF) in order to overcome the limitations identified with other existing frameworks. My hope being that the CPF would provide a tool that could help overcome the problem of lack of impact of investments in ICT that I had identified. It could do this by helping:

  • researchers to be more explicit about the ways in which they were describing their work;
  • curriculum planners and those implementing the use of ICT in education to have clearer, shared understandings about what they were trying to achieve.
